Welcome to the South African Kiteboard tour. The tour will consist of 5 stops around the country this year and will be run and managed by Mobe Productions which has been running kitesurfing events since 2005. Our goal is to get a ranking system for kitesurfing in South Africa. By running the tour, our mission is to bring riders, shops, sponsors and the whole kiting community together to enjoy the amazing sport of Kiteboarding and of course for all the spectators to hopefully come and join in too.. The SAKT is also there to ensure that riders, sponsors and organizers each get what they need from the Tour and events. We would also like to get as much media coverage as possible as to propel the sport to new heights and gain the recognition we all know it deserves in South Afrca. The tour is essentially there to push the sport but the events are open to anyone to come and join in on the fun. Each event will have different disciplines and categories to suit each rider.

About Mobe Production’s Background:
The event organizer Taro Niehaus and owner of Mobe Productions has been kiting on the world tour for about 5 years, representing South Africa and has a lot of experience in this field. Taro Niehaus has been a judge on the KPWT world tour and has also Judged For the race director of the PKRA and has been competing on the British tour for the last 4 years, so he knows how the things work. Mobe productions is a newly registered company but has been running kiting events since 2005. Come see some of the events below.
